Certified Outpatient Coding Program COC™

Upon successful completion of the program, the students should have the necessary skills and knowledge to use all volumes, appendices, sections and guidelines of the ICD-10 and CPT coding books. Students should understand outpatient coding compliance rules and all the components of a medical record.Graduates of this program may find entry-level positions as outpatient coders in hospitals, outpatient settings and ambulatory surgical centers or as 3rd party administrators, consultants, auditors and may work from home.
